So excited about a Medicaid approval I just got.
This one was particularly gratifying.
- We were able to get the patient responsibility to the nursing home reduced to pay for her ongoing special medications that are not covered by Medicaid or insurance.
- This reduction and her monthly needs allowance put her under the income limit so I was able to get the benefits going back 3 months.
- Now the nursing home will get paid in arrears for 3 months.
- We no longer need a Qualified Income Trust.
- We did a pooled trust to protect the little money she had.
- Approval in 2 weeks
